Family Based Services
Families and caregivers are an integral part of the treatment process. Each child’s parent(s) or caregiver(s) participate in family therapy sessions to learn parenting skills, age-appropriate discipline techniques and effective communication skills.
Family therapy helps create a healthier, nurturing environment for the entire family. The goal of the family based service is to provide concentrated supportive services directed at developing, strengthening and promoting healthy family relationships.
The services made available within family based service provide both and internal and external collaboration with treatment team providers. These treatment team providers may include but are not limited to the treatment advocate, schools, judicial system interagency programs/services and external agency service providers. The goal is to boost the systems of care encompassing treatment plan goals and the successful achievement of these goals.
